Parade Staging

Attached is the alpha listing of the parade entries. Starting at 11 AM, each entry will be checking in at a tent on Highway 56 coming in from the bypass towards the park. Entries will be provided a sign to place in the driver side windshield. These signs will indicate the lineup. Entries in the general line which are mainly businesses will not have a number but instead will be line up in the order they arrive like we have done last few years.

This year, the senior citizens parking spot will be roped off, manned by Jerry and Job Corp students. Those with a special parking permit will be allowed to park. The parking permits were given to the senior citizen staff and some members along with those riding on the Golden Kernel's float (Jaycees & Jaycettes). There are only 70 parking spaces total.

Steven Zehr will have a 6-passenger golf cart that will help take seniors from the parking area to their floats.

There are 6 walkie-talkies used for communication. Many times, cell phone messages will not go thru since the wireless traffic can be heavy. Those with walkie-talkies will be:

JPII will have a vehicle with food and drinks for sale.

Thanks and see Lions Club members at 10:30 on Saturday at the entrance of the park to share any last minute info. Floats begin staging at 11:00 a.m.
